This one-day workshop provides all health and social care staff with an understanding of the issues involved in bereavement and loss with a particular emphasis on coping mechanisms and techniques. By the end of the course participants will: understand the nature of bereavement and loss; be able to understand coping mechanisms; be able to support family carers and residents who have suffered loss or bereavement.
