First Aid at Work (3 Day) E-mail
The First Aid at Work course can be completed by anybody who wishes to enrol, whether you need to learn first aid for your job, are working towards an NVQ in care or you simply want to learn these valuable skills. First aid is of use to everyone. This four day course is full, informative and interactive.  You will use practical aids such as Rescusi-Anne's and will carry out paired work in bandaging, so that you gain confidence as well as learning the techniques. In the fourth session the candidates will have to complete a physical assessment which will involve dealing with two given scenarios.

The topics covered in the course are: unconscious casualty management; recovery position; CPR; choking in adults and children; sever bleeds; shock; heart attacks and cardiac arrest.

The First Aid at Work course is VOISE accredited and upon completion of the course and assessment the candidate will receive a certificate.

Cost
The cost of the course is £150
