| Lone Worker Risk Assessment |
|
|
Many organisations hire staff that are required to either work alone, or in a situation where they may experience difficulty in gaining help should the need arise. Accident, illness, fire and violence are all hazards that can be magnified by lone working. As an employer you have a duty to consider the risk to which you may be exposing your staff, and then provide and implement measures to reduce that risk. Training staff how to recognise the hazards and appropriate measures to take, along with the preparation of accurate and valid risk assessments will ensure that you comply with the law and protect the safety of lone workers. VOISE are providing one day "Lone Worker Risk Assessment" courses that will assist both staff and management in maintaining worker safety. This course will enable staff and management to implement a valid risk assessment procedure that will identify lone working hazards, accurately evaluate the risks and decide upon valid control measures to reduce or eliminate the risks. Cost The commercial price for this course is £45. How to Book a Place on This Course Members of the LWDP and/or VOISE Ltd can book a place on this course through Lancashire Plan or VOISE Plan.
