The Safe Handling of Medication course can be completed by anyone who wishes to enrol, whether it be relevant to your job or you simply want to gain knowledge in this area. This interesting and informative course helps candidates gain knowledge and confidence in using their skills. The course is also relevant for anybody who is working towards an NVQ in Care. The topics covered in the course are: different types of medication; levels of responsibility; medication measures; storage of medication; disguising medication; disposal of medication; alternative medicines. The Safe Handling of Medication course is VOISE accredited and upon completion of the course the candidate will receive a certificate.
