'Safeguarding of Adults' can be completed by anyone who wishes to enrol, whether it be relevant to your job or you simply want to gain knowledge in this area. The course is also relevant for anybody who is working towards an NVQ in Care, specifically those who work with vulnerable adults. The topics covered in the course are: physical, phsycological, emotional and sexual abuse; neglect; responding to adult abuse; do's and don't's in handling the disclosure of abuse; FAQ's; perpetrators; reporting abuse. The Safeguarding of Adults course is VOISE accredited and upon completion of the course the candidate will receive a certificate. Cost The commercial price for this course is £75.
