The Level 1 award is equivalent to a GCSE at grades D-G, while the Level 2 award is equivalent to a GCSE at grades A-C.

There are three elements to these awards:

• Listening and speaking
• reading
• writing

Each element will be assessed with an online multiple choice test, which will give an instant result.
