These awards focus upon the following areas of numeracy, giving learners a solid foundation from which they can progress:

• Numbers and fractions
• Using data
• Multiplication and subtraction
• Measurements and shapes
• Time
  

Each student will need to complete either a portfolio and a short task or an assignment.

Since there are three tiers at entry level, learners can enter at the level they feel most confident and then progress to entry level 3 at their own pace.
